In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to make this beautiful summer special baby frock with ruffle detailing in front, shirred back panel, and cute shoulder straps — just like the one you see in the image! This frock is super comfortable for hot weather, looks absolutely adorable, and is perfect for daily wear or special occasions. ⸻ 🧵 Step-by-Step Cutting & Stitching Guide (Short & Clear): ✂️ Cutting Process: 1. Take soft cotton or rayon fabric – around 1 meter (based on size). 2. Cut the bodice front with extra height for attaching the front ruffle layer. 3. Cut a rectangle piece for back bodice, allowing stretch room for shirring (use elastic thread). 4. Cut two straps of equal width and length. 5. For the skirt: • Cut two tiers – one for the main skirt and one for the bottom ruffle layer (increase width for fullness). 6. Cut a waistband strip to join the bodice and skirt. ⸻ 🧵 Stitching Process: 1. Attach the ruffle piece to the front bodice with topstitching. 2. Shirr the back bodice by sewing rows with elastic thread for stretch fit. 3. Join the front and shirred back bodice at the side seams. 4. Stitch and turn the straps, then attach them at the front and back. 5. Gather the skirt panels and attach to the waistband. 6. Join the waistband to the bodice, keeping all gathers even. 7.
