SILAGE HARVEST with JOHN DEERE and MRSTHECAMPER | Hof Bergmann | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 49

Today we are at Hof Bergmann with MrsTheCamPeR and we have to harvest grass silage. We started by getting ready for the silage harvest. MrsTheCamPeR went and jumped into John Deere 8230 while I jumped into John Deere Gator and opened the gates. Then I inspected the silage fermenter and we meet on the road. When that was done, we went to the local BGA where we met with the manager and she got us the forage harvester and forage trailer. We talked a little bit with her and then I attached Kaweco Radium 245 to John Deere 8230 that MrsTheCamPeR was driving. Then I jumped into John Deere 8300i forage harvester that had John Deere 639 Premium header on and we headed back to the farm. At the farm, we filled the forage harvester with silage additive and then we headed to the first field. I run the forage harvester and harvested the grass and MrsTheCamPeR run the tractor with the forage trailer and carted the grass to the silage fermenter. We did the headland first and then we switched to the ups and downs. We did this until we harvested all the grass from the field and then we went to the second yard. MrsTheCamPeR unloaded the last load of grass into the silage fermenter while I refilled the diesel in the forage harvester. Then we switched and headed to the second field to harvest the grass. After we arrived there, we got everything set up and we started harvesting grass. We did everything the same on the second field as we did on the first. When we got all the grass harvested we returned back to the farm and MrsTheCamPeR started washing equipment while I unloaded the leftover grass. Then I let her wash the tractor and trailer while I unloaded leftover silage additive from the forage harvester. After that was done, we returned the equipment back to the dealer and paid 2.000 euros for leasing the equipment. Then we returned back to the farm and detached the rope and weight from the tractor and parked it. When that was finished, MrsTheCamPeR went into the house to make lunch while I inspected the fermenter silo and field. I checked the job that fermenting silo was doing and then I inspected the grass fields we just harvested using the John Deere Gator. After I got that done, I parked the Gator in the garage and then I brought the eggs from the chicken coop to the MrsTheCamPeR so she can finish making us lunch.
