BELGRADE UNCOVERED: Your ULTIMATE TOUR of SERBIA'S Vibrant Capital 🇷🇸

I’ll show you the famous landmarks and tourist sites that you don’t want to miss! We’ll start on the Danube River where I got an interesting perspective on the city with the drone. I then passed through Terazije Square on route to Republic Square. Republic Square (Трг републике) is the most central and important square in the city, I’ll point out some of the important buildings that surround it as well as delve into a little Serbian history. I’ll introduce you to the National Museum of Serbia, the National Theatre of Belgrade and the Prince Mihailo Monument. A few streets down from Republic Square is one of my favourite neighbourhoods in the Old Town - the Skadarlija District otherwise known as the Bohemian Quarter. It’s a vintage cobblestone street lined with local restaurants and bars, it’s where you’ll find the poets and free thinkers, as well as bands playing live traditional Serbian music! Next up is Studentski Park and a famous duo of religious buildings, both central and worth visiting. The first is Bajrakli Mosque which was built in the 17th century under the Ottoman Empire, and the other is the Cathedral Church of Saint Michael the Archangel, which is Belgrade’s main cathedral built during the 19th century. I took a lazy stroll along the main shopping street in the old town and up towards Belgrade Fortress - the attraction every tourist should visit when they’re in town. It comes along with a long history, historic gates, dungeons, a large park area and some unforgettable views over the Danube River - the place I’d started my tour of this exceptional city just a few hours ago.
