We went to Hertfordshire to collect Sophia's gun from her sponsor Manor & Co after it being overhauled by the gunsmith, it had a service and new pins and springs fitted, it is also a little stiff again. On the way we ran into a lot of traffic and picked the gun up just after 3.00pm instead of around 1.30pm, we got to the ground around 3.20 and they happily allowed us to shoot until 4.00pm, so at lease we got to try the gun out. There was also an issue with a number of our regular Gamebore shells we used, we found a few that were swollen in the middle of the hull, and upon inspection when we got home I found the wads were deformed upon insertion during the manufacturing process, how these passed quality control is beyond me.
