I can't believe this city is real! We were debating on visiting Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an and Xiamen. During my research I came across a "lesser-known" city in China - Chongqing. It boasts a population of 32-million; the highest in China. We took a chance and were not disappointed! Our hosts planned an itinerary for us that took us to most of the popular spots in Chongqing. Thinking that we were just going out for dinner, we were surprised when we were thrown into the nerve center of sensory-stimulating part of the city on a Friday night!
