Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and flagged off several key projects in Assam, including the six-lane Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu across the Brahmaputra, reducing travel time from 1 hour to 7 minutes. He also inaugurated the Indian Institute of Management in Guwahati, the national data center for the northeast, and launched 225 electric buses with 100 buses allocated to Guwahati.
