On October 26, 2024, my friend and I went hiking to Phulchowki Hill, but our adventure quickly turned into a real jungle survival story! We took an old trekking trail instead of the usual Godawari route, thinking it would be scenic. But heavy rainfall from a month ago had caused massive landslides, completely blocking the path. The trail was destroyed, fallen trees and rocks were everywhere, and we had to make our own path through the debris. For hours, we were lost in the forest, with no clear trail, no people, and no easy way forward. It was scary, risky, and exhausting — but finally, we reached the summit of Phulchowki. 🌄 Tips for hikers: ✅ Always take the Godawari–Phulchowki Road route — it’s safe and clear. ⚠️ Avoid old trails after heavy rain — landslides can block the path and make it dangerous. ⛔ If you feel lost, don’t keep going — turn back and restart from the main route. This adventure reminded us that nature is beautiful but unpredictable.
