In this review, I take a closer look at the Seiko SSK023 GMT, a model that's gained popularity for its resemblance to the Rolex Explorer series. While the white version may be the fan favorite, I personally prefer the black version from stock images. The watch features a standard crown, unlike some others with a screw-down crown. Compared to a similar field watch I've reviewed, this SSK023 GMT definitely comes out ahead, particularly in terms of design and the more subtle domed crystal, which I appreciate. I purchased this watch on Amazon and, overall, I'm impressed with its appearance. The dark date wheel adds a nice touch, and the case finishing is solid.
