Ukiam is situated in the assam - meghalaya border. Kulsi river runs along this border and also there is a very old hanging bridge over the kulsi river that connects both the states. The place is very popular for the picnic and in the month of december people from around the city guwahati and nearby places came for celebrating new year. We had a lots of fun and enjoyed the waterfall which is a bit far from the place but that can be easily accessed with local boats. . . . .
