LEAFS CAR 2771!!! GO Transit Consist 644-342 on the Stouffville Line!

I can't believe that this happened! GO Transit car No. 2771 was given a special wrap to celebrate the Toronto Maple Leafs making the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, but its train was always running on the Lakeshore corridor where most of GO's passengers would be able to see it, although it did go to the Kitchener line a few times. For it to come to the Stouffville line was exceedingly rare! This was the only appearance of the Leafs Car on the Stouffville line this year. It would have been better if it showed up while the Leafs were still in the playoffs, but I'm lucky for it to even be running after they have been eliminated on the 18th. MAY 20, 2025 0:08 GO Transit consist 644-342 east to Old Elm (featuring Leafs Car 2771) 1:09 Detailed look at 2771. Markham GO Station was the most convenient spot for me at the time, but it ended up being a beneficial spot to see the car because cars 6-12 relative to the locomotive do not open at Markham due to platform restrictions, and with 2771 being 6th from the locomotive, I was able to observe the Leafs Car in all its glory without being in the way of exiting passengers or exiting passengers being in the way of me. MAY 21, 2025 4:01 BONUS CLIP: Old Cab Car 252, which passed prior to the Leafs Car's return trip 5:07 GO Transit consist 644-342 west from Old Elm (featuring Leafs Car 2771), the final trip of 2771 as the Leafs Car on the GO Transit rail system. With the Maple Leafs having been eliminated from the playoffs, the car had been taken out of service later that day for the removal of the wrap. Thanks for watching! Hope you enjoyed! More to come :)
