Hi everyone, The listed video demonstrates how fast a linear ATC cnc router can mill the aluminum block with a spray mist coolant system on. The machine in the video is a linear ATC (short for automatic tool changer) cnc router with a full AC servo system. The spindle is a 9.0KW HSD air cooling spindle (ATC type). In the video, it mills with 18,000RPM (Maximum 24000RPM). And we can see, it gets a very nice clean finish. For milling aluminum, it is essential to get the coolant mist spray system involved. Or you can have another option - a water cooling circulation system. It prevents aluminum shavings from sticking the cutters. Without it, it is unable to get a clean milling finish.
