Well, cant we look at that afterlife within our own lifetime? Fiddler's green talks about folklores of the world through songs of the south Asian subcontinent, sonically connecting them with humane stories of the shires in middle earth, running through the deserts of Arabia, the jungles of Kalahari, again merging with the streets of Havana and Puerto Rico or the wild trekking trails of Nepal all of which depicts a simple man looking for "Peace". The colours of this man change with the serenity of the agile bluegrass riffs, the aggression of the afro Cuban grooves, the obscurity of the Turkish lutes, the romanticism of the flamenco rhythms, the spirituality of the Baul's Dotara and many more. Yet that simple man remains within all of us looking for wisdom and happiness! It is absolutely an organic attempt to rediscover our roots and get thrilled with its never ending love. Pan Asian folk forms like Bhatiyali, Baul, Fakiri, Bhadu, Tushu,Bihu, Goalpariya, Murshidi, Nepali Gandharva music, Sindhi Fakiri Qalams, Goan folk etc etc mixed with Celtic, blue grass, Jewish folk, afro and other Indian folk styles.....in the acoustic unplugged sounds of the mandolin, nylon string guitar, tenor guitar and world percussions ... A unique blend of different folk sub genres ... A very gentle and intelligent blend of OP Nayyar and Bill Monroe ... Songs close to music lover's hearts, songs of the wild, songs of love ...
