Idaho | Jarbidge-Bruneau River
A 5 day, 4 night river trip down the Jarbidge-Bruneau river in southern Idaho. The Jarbidge River is mainly a class III river with a few easy class IV rapids and a couple class V rapids that are typically portaged. The Bruneau river is essentially an easy class III river trip that is more commonly known for its scenic canyon beauty than the difficulty of the rapids. Towards the end, 5 Mile rapid is a fun read and run rapid that was definitely the stand out rapid of the entire trip, especially at our flows. Unfortunately, the SD card reached full capacity at the beginning of day 4 and I was unable to record 5 Mile rapid.
