Now the Crowbox is designed to detect bottle-caps. When a bottle-cap falls through the hole in center of the board, a small piece of food (peanuts or dog-food) is presented at the food-bowl. My plan is that the magpies will, accidentally push bottle-caps into the hole, and 'get the idea'...not working...so far...i't four 'chicks' hatched earlier this year who is investigating the food bowl with patience...i have not seen their 'parents' for several weeks now...their nest is in a three just above the crowbox... In center of the board there is a hole with a funnel. At the bottom of the funnel, i designed a electric coli, that detects metal as a bottle-cap passes. The metal-detector is based on an arduino, the arduino communicates with the master Raspebby-Pi ocver I2C, as the rest of the devices on the board, servo, led etc.
