In Delft Netherlands there's a local Dutch market on certain days of the week. I was lucky enough to be in Delft on one of the days the market operates and was able to try the local foods offered. I found many Dutch foods to try as well as a few foreign options from countries that the Dutch colonized at some point in history. This market in Delft has remained opened even during the pandemic. It gives people something to do and see. I tried Dutch cheese, stroop waffles, and foods from Suriname. Everything at the Dutch market was delicious and the people were very welcoming and friendly as you will see on this video.
