This year I'm trying to grow cotton from seed in Western Maryland Zone 6B. Hoping to be able to get a harvest from a plant that has the longest growing season (150-180 days) of most any crop grown in the USA. Part 1 follows the progression from planting the seed indoors in February to transplanting it outside in May.
