In today’s video, I’m going to show you how to make a trendy baby frock with a stand collar, hollow design, and puff sleeves. This DIY project is perfect for your little one. Let’s get started!” Materials Needed: 1. Fabric (cotton, Organza or your choice) 2. Sewing machine 3. Scissors 4. Measuring tape 5. Pins 6. Thread 7. Fabric chalk 8. Pattern paper Step 1: Creating the Pattern “First, we’ll create our pattern. Using pattern paper, draw the front and back bodice, sleeves, and collar. For the hollow design, mark out the shape on the bodice front. Cut out the patterns.” Step 2: Cutting the Fabric “Now, pin your patterns to the fabric and cut out all the pieces. Make sure to cut a front and back bodice, two sleeve pieces, and the stand collar.” Step 3: Sewing the Bodice “Start by sewing the shoulder seams of the front and back bodice pieces together. Then, sew the side seams. Don’t forget to leave space for the hollow design. We’ll handle that next.” Step 4: Creating the Hollow Design “Carefully cut out the marked area for the hollow design on the front bodice. Finish the edges with a zigzag stitch or by attaching a small facing to give it a neat look.” Step 5: Adding the Sleeves “To make the puff sleeves, sew a gathering stitch along the top edge of each sleeve. Pull the thread to gather the fabric. Pin the sleeves to the armholes, matching the gathered edge to the bodice, and sew them in place.” Step 6: Attaching the Stand Collar “Fold the collar piece in half lengthwise, wrong sides together, and press. Attach the collar to the neckline of the bodice, ensuring it’s evenly distributed. Sew it in place and finish the edge with a zigzag stitch.” Step 7: Hemming and Finishing Touches “Hem the bottom of the frock and the sleeves.
