Tuna Fishing, Dodanduwa, Sri Lanka

This film documents the ring-net fishing technique used by the fishermen of Dodanduwa, Sri Lanka. I am very grateful to Sampath, Jayalath, Wasantha and all the crew of the boat Dalin for the opportunity to accompany them on a fishing trip. The footage was shot in November 2015 whilst undertaking a six weeks Sura Medura Art Residency in Hikkaduwa, and was edited in March 2016.
