For three days, I explored the wetlands of Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur — one of India’s most important bird sanctuaries — to document its wildlife, behavior, and ecological stories for a photography competition. This documentary captures intimate and rare moments from the park, including: • Painted stork breeding colonies • Black-necked stork parental feeding behavior • Sarus crane courtship dance • Spoonbill and ibis preening rituals • Egret hunting sequences • Jackal movement within the wetland ecosystem • Fruit bats and nocturnal owl encounters • Migratory bird flocks in flight • Calm wetland landscapes and reflections Rather than focusing only on species portraits, this film tells a broader story — of migration, survival, biodiversity, and the fragile balance that sustains wetland ecosystems like Bharatpur. 🌏 About Keoladeo National Park Located in Rajasthan, India, Keoladeo National Park (formerly Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important migratory bird habitats in Asia. Every winter, birds arrive here from Central Asia, Mongolia, Siberia, and beyond. 📷 Shot & Filmed By Dev Vikram Upaadhyay Wildlife Photographer & Visual Storyteller This film was created as part of a wildlife photography competition documenting Keoladeo’s biodiversity and conservation importance. 🎥 Gear Used • Canon EOS R6 Mark II • Canon RF 200–800mm • Canon 55–250mm • Canon 18–55mm 🔔 Subscribe for More Wildlife Stories If you enjoy wildlife documentaries, bird photography, conservation storytelling, and behind-the-scenes field experiences, consider subscribing for more. 📌 Filmed At Keoladeo National Park Bharatpur, Rajasthan, India
