Inside, visitors can find extraordinary historical treasures, including rare Tiffany stained glass windows, intricate religious artwork, and a remarkable altar wall modeled after St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle — created with assistance from artisans sent by Queen Victoria herself. The church’s connections to prominent figures like Asa Packer, its breathtaking cobalt, emerald, and gold-infused glass, and its enduring role in the Jim Thorpe community make St. Mark’s one of Pennsylvania’s most fascinating historic landmarks. More than a century later, the church remains both a place of worship and a living symbol of the town’s heritage.
