The word “Trinity” cannot be found in the New Testament (nor in the Old Testament, for that matter). This is part of the reason why skeptics and unitarians sometimes claim that the Trinity isn’t actually a concept that the Bible teaches. Instead, it’s a pagan invention that was added to Christianity long after the time of Jesus and the apostles. In this video I will lay out why the teaching of the New Testament implies that God is three persons in one nature and that the notion of God being triune is right there in the text.
