FOREST OF DEAN WALK FEATURING BREAM AND DEVIL’S CHAPEL "Bream and Devil’s Chapel” Filmed 20th July 2018 Post-production completed 3rd February 2019 *Contains some swearing* During the 25th anniversary celebrations my plan has been to cover as many locations in the Forest of Dean as I can. The village of Bream has been briefly seen in both “The Mysterious Forest” and “Sentiments of Severnside”, but in 2018 I wanted to show it more thoroughly as I felt it was an essential village to feature in the Forest of Dean, especially as its location provides wonderful views over the Forest. “Bream and Devil’s Chapel” has been a particularly enjoyable film to shoot as the walk itself was not too strenuous, and I feel I have covered Bream much better and in more detail than in my previous films. Devil’s Chapel, with its scowles, is another location that, if I recall correctly, I have never actually been to before now, so this has been another great place to film whilst in the Bream area. Filmed in the Forest of Dean in the county of Gloucestershire. Locations include Bream, Devil’s Chapel, Bream’s Meend and Mill Hill. This is part of the series of films shot in 2018 celebrating 25 years of “The Solitary Rambler”. Written, researched, directed, camera and sound, edited and music by Patrick Leach. "The Solitary Rambler" is my series of amateur films of my journeys in the countryside accompanied by my own musical scores, which I compose and perform on my Yamaha keyboard. Please note that, as with all the films I make, this is not actually intended to be an extensive guide to the area. This is a mini-movie of my personal journey along the walk, in which I often share some of my own personal stories. If you are new to my YouTube channel, I strongly recommend reading the description on the home page, which will provide a clearer understanding of what to expect in my films: / solitaryrambler There is also a short “Introduction to the Solitary Rambler” video, which briefly explains what my films are all about: / solitaryrambler DISCLAIMER: Although I work hard to ensure all information is correct to the best of my knowledge, I am only featuring information I have found online and/or in books during my research when putting this film together, so I cannot guarantee that there are no mistakes or errors.
