This training is a part of MCASA's Spring 2026 Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Fundamentals Training Series. This training was presented live on February 27, 2026. The trainer was MCASA's SAKI/SART Program Manager. ASL interpreters interpreted this training. MCASA's Sexual Assault Victim Advocate Fundamentals Training is an online training for advocates who work directly with sexual assault survivors in Maryland. The training covers introductory topics to provide a foundation for best practices for advocates in the field of sexual assault services. The learning objectives for this training session are to: Identify at least 2 Maryland SAKI project goals Explain the guiding principles of the Maryland Victim Notification Protocol Outline the steps of the victim notification process *** After watching this training session, we invite you to complete the anonymous evaluation form for this session: https://forms.gle/dE3MUqxkyiTRcVLY7 All feedback is appreciated as we are constantly striving to improve.
