After more than 10 years of music and vibes, I've upload this video, where I share the detailed restoration journey of my first sitar. This sitar has a special place in my heart.Iit’s the instrument with which I recorded my debut album Seatar (2012) and began performing live. In 2012, the sitar was severely damaged, with a large hole in the main gourd (tumba), and I had no original pieces to work with. Despite these challenges, I embarked on a DIY repair process, finding creative solutions to restore it to playable condition. Join me as I go through each step of this unique repair, showing how I carefully patched the broken gourd and reinforced the instrument’s structure without the missing fragments.
