This is Think Pink by Twink, released in 1970 on Sire Records. This is the original US stereo pressing in the gatefold cover. Unfortunately my copy is a VG cover / VG vinyl. This is a solo psych trip from Twink, drummer for The Pretty Things, Tomorrow, and The Pink Fairies. It blends dreamy acoustic passages, fuzzed-out jams, tape loops, and full-on acid freakouts. Twink was part of the same London underground scene as Syd Barrett and later played drums in Stars, a short-lived 1972 band with Syd and Jack Monck. Features members of Tyrannosaurus Rex and The Deviants, with two tracks co-written by Steve Peregrin Took.
