Big Block Mopar Aluminum Cylinder Heads: Are they Actually Ready to Bolt On, Out of the Box?
I needed some heads for Dave’s 500 stroker eGone and it got me thinking, is there a pair of cylinder heads for a big block Mopar that are “out of the box, ready to bolt on”? In this video I run over to @rickseeman5679 and we tear these apart, check the guide clearances, check the valve job, and lap the valves in. I then bring them back to my house to check for cylinder wall alignment with the chambers. I believe these to be a good entry level cylinder head, available with appropriate springs for different types of camshafts.
