Right from the get-go, it's obvious that Machine Games is doubling down on the high enemy counts and higher tier enemies in the maps for Dimension of the Machine. But working directly Nightdive's KEX engine to make the maps, they're able to make incredibly gorgeous looking environments. But, I think, unlike Dimension of the Past, the map-makers have tooled the player up more favourably. But not so generously as to make maps trivial. The maps are huge in scope, hence why in this Mission Pack an episode of two maps can take me in excess of two hours. In this episode, I think the challenge was mostly around the sheer volume of enemies, with a good number at mid- to upper tier.
