In previous vlog we have visited the Krishna Temple of Baku Azerbaijan i.e Iskcon Temple of Baku , Azerbaijan . In this vlog we are also going to visit the Hindu Temple of Azerbaijan , will let you know about Hindu history of Azerbaijan , about Indian traders who used to visit at this sacred temple . The Hindu Temple is Known as Ateshgah Temple of Azerbaijan or Fire Temple of Azerbaijan. This sacred Hindu Fire Temple is situated in Surakhani Town of Baku Azerbaijan. History of Temple is very unique as it’s used to be worshipping place for believers of three religions i.e Hindus , Sikhs & Zoroastrians . A great temple & sacred site of people belongs to Hinduism , Sikhism & Zoroastrianism. How to reach at the Ateshgah Fire Temple of Baku Azerbaijan. The distance between Baku city Centre & Fire Temple is around 20 kms and can be reached after changing metro and then by taking bus which will drop you directly at the Fire Temple of Baku . The time I reached at the temple I see many Indian tourists at there coming back after visiting Temple . I also see the movie set outside the Temple but in the vicinity of territory. According to belief the word Surakhani , name of the town is taken from Sanskrit from word ‘Sura’ which means ‘ God ‘ . Another belief that it’s may derived from the words Surakh which means hole or Surkh which means red , can be related to the Flame of the fire & the word Surakh or hole relates to the seven natural vents or holes through which the fire was being lit up naturally in the Fire Temple but the fire stopped at the year 1969 because of non sustainable use of the natural resources around the region & now the fire at the Temple is being lit up through the gas pipelines . The Hindu Fire Temple of Azerbaijan is now made as a Museum and the ticket for International tourists cost 9Azn / 450₹ . The word Ateshgah derived from the Persian language , Atesh means Fire & gah means throne or bed and it also can be linked with the Sanskrit word grah which means House . Let’s talk about now the times of Ancient silk route which was connected with many countries around from China to Europe or Mediterranean. On this great trade Merchans or traders from different countries meet on their ways do businesses , share ideas , informations about technology , science , religions and many other important things . The term Caravansarais were used as those times of Hostels / Hotels packed with all good facilities for the travellers or traders . Many traders from region of Hindustan also known as Hindu merchants were very popular around the world because of their great skills & hard working nature . Specifically the people from the region of Multan & Peshawar known as Aroras , Khatris , Sindhis & Marwaris were very wise & very skilled in managing all kind of work , very smart in keeping Accounts used to give the loans to people of Central Asia when there were no any proper banking systems , but the good days & fortune won’t stay long . The time when Russia around 1860s starting their invasions on Central Asian countries , they proposed various rules against Hindu merchants or Indian merchants hence they loose their all wealth & prosperity. After visiting Hindu Temple of Azerbaijan, went back to Host house in Icherishehar , city centre of Baku . After taking rest started exploring Baku Boulevard also known as National park of Azerbaijan dates back the history of 100 years . The Boulevard runs for around 3-4 kms parallel to the seafront . The views around Caspian Sea is amazing with so many Landmarks and activities to do around . Baku boulevard is the best place to hang out around in Baku Azerbaijan. There are many cafes & restaurants as well to sit & relax . There is Carpet Museum , Little Venice , Baku Eye ( Ferris Wheel ) , 2 or 3 amazing modern malls , and many other spots . After reaching back to host house i.e Studio , Indian met Azerbaijan girl . Zara returned from work to get the products from her Master . Zara is very hardworking girl . Host don’t stay at the studio but have his another house in outer city of Baku Azerbaijan.
