Good Friday Jerusalem 2021. During my visit to Jerusalem today, I witnessed thousands of pilgrims attending the Good Friday ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre after Covid restrictions were eased following Israel's vaccine roll-out. The pilgrims were restricted from attending this ceremony last Easter due to Covid-19 pandemic. Today many pilgrims wearing masks poured down the Via Dolorosa path towards the Church of the Holy Sepulchre carrying crosses to observe Jesus' route to his crucifixion.
