Departure airport: WBSB You can watch videos without subscribing therefore you should watch several of them before subscribing to ensure this is the kind of content you want to keep watching. Unfortunately, if you expect intelligence, agreeability, professional piloting and ultra-realistic visuals and operations, that can't be found here and this won't change. Please look for other channels. If you watch I hope you enjoy it regardless. Obviously, this is not the place to learn how to fly. If you want to learn, please look for people who know what they are doing. I do some things wrong both willingly and unintentionally. Most importantly, I'm just some random dude on the internet who uploads videos. Tame your expectations. Lastly, the number of question marks at the end of a question is inversely proportional to my willingness to take the question seriously. Please don't ask me how much better/realistic something is in any sim. I am clueless. I encourage you to observe and make your own conclusion. I also can't tell you if something is worth it or not. It's your money and only you know how much you are willing to spend. Nvidia Game Filters: I use Nvidia Game Filters for MSFS2020 and X-Plane 12. My filters can be found here https://imgur.com/a/tJwTuWO. I use HDR and the videos are in SDR. Unfortunately, you can't see exactly how it looks on my monitor and your sim probably won't look exactly as mine looks in the videos whether or not I use filters. I use the default camera systems for both simulators. On X-Plane, I use A-Better-Camera plugin specifically for airports that have bad tower views. Where am I from: Kenya Am I a real-world pilot: No, not even in my dreams. Do I have any real-world aviation experience: No Do I plan to get a pilot's license: No Do I know what I'm doing: Probably not Preferred sim: The one that is most suitable for the flight I want to do, considering the availability and quality of the add-ons. I love MSFS2020/2024's visuals and X-Plane's aircraft handling. "I am looking forward to MSFS2024 hoping it has the best of both worlds" is what I said before and a few months after release of MSFS2024. I have come to terms with the fact that MSFS2024 is just an enhanced version of MSFS2020 with fixes, improvements and its own set of BS. I have lost hope that any sim will give the best of both worlds. That being said, I will take quality (unlike my videos) and reliability of features over quantity (like my videos) of features and visuals. My 50/50 preference is over and I mostly prefer XP12 now. I am always happier after a flight in XP12 than after a flight in MSFS2020/2024.
