This system can be used as balcony or terrace doors. The design of the MB-77HS aluminium door allows it to be made as a corner balcony door with a movable post. The maximum dimensions of the door leaf are 3.2 m high and 3.3 m wide, and the maximum weight is 600 kg. Despite such large sizes, the structure of lift-and-slide doors seems to be light and not overwhelming. This was achieved by using slim but durable profiles. The MB-77HS system sliding balcony door frames are available in two versions: 2-rail and 3-rail. This structure can be built into corners 900 and 2700, which allows the rooms to be opened to an exceptionally large space. An undoubted advantage of these large balcony doors is also the use of a low threshold. This increases the comfort of use and gives the impression of a smooth transition from indoors to outdoors. The manufacturer of terrace doors, Aluprof, also ensured a high level of tightness of this system. This was achieved by using a specially shaped cover and glazing seal, as well as by using appropriate fittings. The described model of low-threshold aluminium balcony doors has: water resistance class 9A, air permeability class 4, wind load resistance up to class C4, thermal insulation Uf from 1.4 W/(m2K), good soundproofing. High thermal insulation of lift-and-slide balcony doors is achieved thanks to a wide range of fillings, the use of single- and double-chamber sets, thermal breaks and additional accessories and insulating inserts. Thanks to the use of the closed shape of glazing strips and anti-burglary details, an increased standard of RC2 anti-burglary properties was achieved in this system. Importantly, this was done without affecting the essential structural elements of these sliding patio doors. A wide selection of colours for this system makes it possible to adapt the appearance of sliding balcony doors to both the style of the rooms and the appearance of the building.
