Christmas Present #1: for ‪@SamWinjester‬ You have been SO extremely encouraging about my editing and have given me so many helpful tips. I am genuinely so grateful to you!! I wanted to make a video for you as a thank you. A while ago I randomly asked what your favorite character was on AR and you said Alex. To be honest, I inwardly cringed because I have NOT been very successful in making really good videos about Alex individually (or at least none that live up to the awesomeness of his character). But I was determined to make one for you! And here we are. Okay, so this song was actually one of the first songs I had picked out for AR. Don't ask me why, but I was like, yes, one day I will make an Alex edit with this song. After you told me Alex was your favorite character, I played around with a few different songs (because I have, like, 20 picked out for Alex) and ultimately decided I was going to use this song. I started editing it, going for a kinda carefree vibe... and it did not go anywhere. Then it hit me randomly that instead of taking "I ain't worried" as carefree, I should take in a kind of snarky, "I don't care" way. Once I switched to focusing more on Alex's trademark snarkiness, the whole video kinda fell into place. (It's also perfect since I've been wanting to make an Alex humor video for a while and this kinda fits.) I really hope you like it!!
