Welcome to Fairlawn Elementary Magnet School, home of the Patriots in Fort Pierce, Florida. Fairlawn Elementary Magnet School is designed to provide students with a high-quality academically focused educational environment within St. Lucie Public Schools. Centrally located in Fort Pierce, Fairlawn is St. Lucie County’s first academic elementary magnet school. Fairlawn has a progressive academic program of the highest quality and fosters an environment that prepares students to become productive citizens. Our school provides an excellent school atmosphere recognizing students for academic excellence and outstanding conduct. Our Patriots are highly engaged in a wide array of reading incentive programs. And our K thru 5 arts program promotes students by submitting their artwork to community art contests. Art and reading aren’t the only factors that make Fairlawn Elementary Magnet a premier academic center of excellence, technology is evident throughout our school with each student having their own computer. Social emotional learning is also prevalent at Fairlawn with our very own SEL room for students to engage in various activities to help develop self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school and life success. Fairlawn prides itself on our positive behavior support system that is supported by all staff allowing students to earn perks for following schoolwide expectations, as well as helping to promote good choices and citizenship. Students are given the opportunity to spend those perks at our very own patriot perk store. At Fairlawn Elementary, students are our foremost concern. We believe each child can learn, but children do learn differently. Therefore, varied experiences will be provided to teach, monitor, and evaluate student progress.
