How to estimate the age of a Necklace by looking at the clasps, findings, & hallmarks. I show 20th century necklaces I am by no means an expert, and I do not claim to be. This video is showing how I date necklaces. Please do your own research to decide on how you would go about dating vintage necklaces. Examples of clasps used are inside box clasp, spring clasp, barrel clasp, S. Hook clasp, Toggle clasp, lobster claw clasp. Examples of Findings are Tiger Eye Stone, Aurora Borealis Art Glass, Marcasites, Aurora Borealis Crystals & Rhinestones, Silvertone and Goldtone Metal.
