Hi there, We got snowed in with the Bichanga family for a weekend and it was fun and relaxing! We made delicious food and enjoyed sledding in the freshly fallen snow. We unboxed a fun new item from Aobosi and made ground chicken sausage meatballs with the meat grinder. Thank you for being here! Blessings, Katie katiesrootsandrecipes@gmail.com Aobosi Meat Grinder: Referral Link: https://www.iaobosi.com/?ref=katiesro... 15% discount code: KatieKasoa Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D... Recipes in todays video: Biscuits: https://www.pauladeen.com/recipe/sout... To convert to FMF biscuits: Add 1 1/4 cup FM Flour for every 1 cup of AP Flour that the recipe asks for. FMF Pancakes: https://lovelybellbakes.com/irresisti... AP Flour Buttermilk Pancakes: https://www.scratchpantry.com/recipes... I use this waffle recipe for pancakes as well when Im using AP flour. Sausage Gravy: 2 lbs ground pork 4 T Butter 3 T Oil 6T - 8T of Flour 4-8 Quarts of Milk (Half and Half can be used as well) Salt and Pepper Lawrys Seasoned Salt (optional) Fry pork in a pan till cooked through. Add salt and pepper. Add 4 T butter and 3 T oil to meat. Once butter is melted add 6 T AP Flour. Stir this mixture well and let it cook for a few minutes. Then add 4-8 quarts of milk. Cook low and slow as milk starts to heat. Add less milk. More can be added if gravy seems to be too thick. Once milk starts to simmer, whisk it so it thickens evenly. Add more milk as needed to get a lovely gravy consistency. I taste and then add seasonings at the end. We love a peppery tasting gravy. I also add some Lawrys seasoned salt for any additional salt needed. Serve this hot over warm biscuits. This makes a large pot of gravy. Scale back or up as needed for yourself. Gravy stores well in fridge for up to a week. #thebichangas #snowedin #crossculturalrelationships #kenyanyoutuber #freshmilledflour #biscuitsandgravy #Amishcooking #recipevideos
