My remix of Pepper Steak, the battle theme from the game OFF! Subscribe for more quirky indie RPG covers (and theories too I guess). OFF is an indie RPG horror game made in RPG Maker, the same engine as game like Yume Nikki, OneShot, LISA The Painful, and Omori. It just celebrated its 15th birthday recently (accompanied by an anniversary stream by the creator Mortis Ghost), so I decided to make this cover to commemorate one of the most well-stylized, atmospheric, convention-breaking RPGs out there. OFF is really cool you should totally play it if you haven't Original song is 'Pepper Steak' by Alias Conrad Coldwood! I was somewhat inspired by the style of All Levels at Once's remix of Pepper Steak (OFF - Pepper Steak [All Levels At Once Remix] on youtube), since it gives the original a really cool darker spin that goes well with OFF's darker tone (plus I used to listen to it all the time anyway).
