As my first dive into the world of Grapple-oriented solos, solo Iatros from the Desert Perpetual raid proved to be challenging, but overall fun to learn despite some small nitpicks I have. I struggled a lot with pretty much every aspect of the encounter at some point, but because I haven't done a new solo raid encounter since Gatekeepers this January (not counting Queenswalk since it took me 5 minutes), it was nice to be in an environment where I could really feel myself improving when I learned something. As for my performance, it was definitely not fantastic when it came to damage, but I didn't mind that it was a struggle- otherwise I wouldn't be learning anything! I'm most proud of my third phase here that brought it home since I was able to perform well despite it being a high pressure situation; that's no easy task. I definitely think my damage suffered a bit as a result of not having armor with both high grenade and melee over 100, but the constraint forced me to do at least decent damage across all 3 phases, so I think it added to the experience for me. I definitely want to do more Grapple bosses in the future. Regarding the solo itself, I think it's just okay. If you like Grapple damage it will maybe be fun, but I didn't love the mechanics portion, especially as you are sometimes subject to waiting multiple minutes for the boss to move to middle to be able to start damage properly. Despite some annoying wipes I'm glad I stuck through and completed this challenge and hope you all enjoy watching me scrape my way to a clear. The Twitch: / shinybook51
