Wide of traffic police at main road STORYLINE: Locals in Cambodia continued to take shelter Wednesday after Thailand launched airstrikes along the disputed border and Cambodia fired back with rockets and drones. Both sides accused the other of breaking a ceasefire that halted fighting earlier this year. The renewed between the Southeast Asian neighbors drove tens of thousands of people to flee border areas in both countries. Some are taking shelter in outdoor tents set up in camps. An Associated Press reporter talked to evacuees in Chong Kal, Cambodia, near the Thai border. 32-year-old Lim Phin said he hopes to return to his home and welcomes any effort from U.S. President Donald Trump to stop the war. Meanwhile 69-year-old Kandy Vuthy said he has had enough of wars, being a war veteran himself. He said he lost his leg during previous conflicts in Cambodia. He said he feels sorry for his children and grandchildren that had to flee after renewed fighting broke out.
