what does spirituality mean... 1. Introduction Hello everyone! In our last two videos, we explored the concepts of rational and emotional intelligence, based on the writings of American writer Danah Zohar. Today, we're diving into spirituality and spiritual intelligence. Since I can't find a fully satisfactory definition of spirituality anywhere, I've decided to share with you my own vision of what spirituality is. 2. Generic 3. Channel Presentation Welcome to KÂ Expertise, an organizational transformation consulting company, specializing in the integration of information technology and spirituality in the workplace. We are convinced that tomorrow's world will profoundly depend on the quality of the integration of these three components. 4. What Does Spirituality Mean? 4.1. So What Is Spirituality? Spirituality is just a feeling, something we feel more than we think. It's something we experience more than we articulate. It's an essence that transcends rational thought, a sense that eludes our grasp the more we try to capture it. 4.2. Beyond Rational Thought Spirituality is something that escapes rational thought. It's elusive and intangible, becoming more mysterious as we try to define it. Spiritual intelligence delves into this feeling, a feeling distinct from emotional sensation. It's about exploring this feeling to gain vision and direction. 4.3. Following the Path Exploring spiritual intelligence is an invitation to follow a path, similar to the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, Beatrice in Dante's Divine Comedy, or the urge to run and the feather in Forest Gump. It's a journey beyond the confines of rationality, emotions, and materiality. 4.4. Beyond the Visible World Spiritual intelligence calls us to travel beyond the visible world. It’s a response to an inner call, a journey from self to self, as Heidegger suggests: “Have you heard the call of being?” This journey offers a deeper understanding of ourselves, reality, and others. 4.5. Access to the Infinite Spirituality grants us access to the infinite. Jacques Mayol in "Le Grand Bleu" describes it as sliding without falling. It’s an experience where everything we do in the material world must align with our inner journey. Materiality should never obstruct or hinder this inner progress. 4.6. The Symbolic Journey The journey towards oneself carries the promise of liberation and self-realization. It's like Moses' symbolic journey to the promised land, where we must avoid mistaking an oasis for the true destination. The quest for material goods should not distract us from our inner quest, which is the supreme quest for the self. 4.7. The Supreme Quest There is no more precious possession than the quest for self. To forget this quest is to lose oneself. Conquering the world is meaningless if we don't conquer ourselves. What's the point of obtaining all the goods in the world if we don't attain the supreme good, which is self-realization? The ultimate achievement is conquering the highest good – oneself. 5. Conclusion This video aims to provide a deep and thoughtful exploration of spirituality and spiritual intelligence. By understanding and integrating these concepts into our lives, we can achieve a harmonious balance between our inner and outer worlds, ultimately leading to a more fulfilled and enlightened existence. www.kaexpertise.com 00:00 Introduction 00:52 Generic 01:04 Channel presentation 01:29 What does spirituality mean...
