In this video series Part 1, I’m diving into one of their luxury cookies with my honest taste test and pastry chef review then I’m remaking it Yes Honey Pastry Style and comparing the price!! Are these $120 cookies worth the price? Or is it all just fancy branding? Watch to find out and stay tuned for the rest of the series where I remake each flavor one by one! ‼️Recipe 👇👇👇👇‼️ White chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies 1 Cup or (2 sticks) unsalted butter 1/2 light brown sugar 1 1/4 Cup granulated sugar 2 medium eggs 1 tsp vanilla Extract 2 1/4 cups flour 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 16 oz white chocolate chips 12 oz macadamia Nuts For toppings White melting chocolate (I used almond bark) Caramel cubes ( I used Kraft) Add all of your dry ingredients into a bowl and set aside. Next, Cream together your butter and both sugars, allow the batter to mix for 5 minutes on low to medium speed scraping down your bowl in between mixing. Once your mixture is light and fluffy add in your eggs one at a time, remember to scrape down your bowl!! lol After your eggs are added, add in your vanilla extract, followed by your dry ingredients. Allow the mixture to mix no more than 45 seconds. Lastly add in your chocolate and nuts, mix just until incorporated. Allow your dough to chill for at least 2 hours. Portion your cookie dough using a cookie scoop (Or you can portion them the same way I did in the video) line your sheet pan with your cookies 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 minutes, for bigger cookies 11 minutes. Yields 24 cookies Tip Roasting your nuts before hand will enhance the taste of your cookies, but make sure your nuts are completely cooled before adding them into your cookie batter!
