Israeli army levels 12-storey Mushtaha tower in Gaza City

The Israeli army has bombed and levelled the 12-storey Mushtaha Tower in Gaza City after issuing an evacuation order to its residents and declaring it would target a number of structures, particularly high-rise buildings. Shortly after the evacuation call, Israeli defence minister Israel Katz wrote on X that “the bolt must be removed from the gates of hell in Gaza”, adding that “when the gate is opened, it will not be closed, and [Israeli military] activity will intensify”. Al Jazeera reported that another five-storey building in Gaza City has received a forced evacuation order.
