Hi Everybody I'm Dr. Lisa Masterson! As you all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month dedicated to education and raising funds to fight this terrible disease! This year, over 246,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with new cases of invasive breast cancer in the U.S. Fortunately, there are many ways to help, I chose to start a fundraising page on the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s website. It would mean so much to me if you could take a moment to contribute. I’ll leave a link in the comments. I also wanted to come up with a fun activity to remind us that when it comes to progress, we still have a long way to go. I’d like to present the Sling Shot Bra/ Water Balloon Challenge! All you have to do is fill a water balloon and launch it with a homemade slingshot you’ve made with one of your very own bras. Film a video of your launch and post it to social media with the Hashtag #SlingShotBraChallenge, before you “let her go”,nominate someone to create a sling shot of their own, and let’s grow this message! So here’s my Sling Shot Bra contraption, and I’m ready to launch my balloon! But before I do, I’d like to nominate GARCELLE BEAUVAIS and PETA WILSON!
