We took the opportunity in early August to travel back down to Beaver Lake, this time, staying at Lost Bridge South Campground, near Garfield. Shortly after we awoke on Saturday, it began to rain. Luckily, it cleared out by the afternoon, so we were able to play in the lake some. The other advantage was that the rain brought cooler temps to the area.
