In today’s Jesus Feast we reflect on a powerful moment in Gospel of John 8:1–11 when the religious leaders tried to trap Jesus. They brought a woman caught in adultery and asked Him a difficult question, hoping to accuse Him no matter how He responded. But Jesus was not caught in their trap. Because He stayed close to the Father and made it a habit to spend time in the temple, God gave Him the wisdom and the exact response needed in that moment. This passage reminds us that the enemy often tries to trap us through temptation, pressure, and accusations. But when we remain close to God, He gives us wisdom and provides a way out.
