The Toyota Supra is very easy and cheap to maintain if you do things yourself, or if your car is still new form the dealer. The Toyota Supra is pretty reliable over all the years and the only slight issue is with 2021 cars burning some oil. Its only some of the 3.0 cars for 2021 but it's an easy thing to live with. Some minor things have popped up with Supras, but most cars are still under warranty and get fixed easily. And if something pops up it's usually small. I've never had any issues with either of my 2020 or 2023 Supras. If they are well maintained and not abused these will be very reliable. Even after abuse the Supra seems to still handle it well. On the used market the 6 cylinder Supra will go for mid $40k up to MSRP. I wouldn't spend over sticker on a Supra regardless of the spec. So these seems to hold good value. Higher mileage Supras 3.0's with 40k miles might even be on par with the price of a used low mileage 2.0. I don't see buying a 2.0 since a used low mileage 3.0 will cost the same and you get so much more performance. The automatic and manual are both fun to drive and it just depends on what you want in your car. Overall buying a new or used MK5 Supra is a safe bet.
