The Veigar's Curse Trial main feature is that the level cap is increased to level 30. Some champions and runes scale beyond level 18, which results in some interesting builds and enables some champions to reach special power levels in the end. I think everyone has seen the 0s cooldown arcane comets flying around, but there is a somewhat big pool of champions that scale heavily into level 30. Like Jhin who gets AD from his passive based on level. I am thinking of making a compilation of some funny scaling build/champion combos. Like Phase Rush CD is 0s at 30, or Tristana range gets over 800, Heimer Turret health %AP reaches above 90%, etc. If you are interested let me know. This is for sure not the best build, but I think it feels good to play. In the heat of the battle, after loosing the second mission I forgot to swap out my items in the end: The boots, Collector, and RFC ... There are late game options that are better. Also if you want to max AD then Conquerer rune is better instead of Fleet Footwork, but Fleet also scales with level reaching 154hp heal, which is nothing crazy.
