He completed haematology training in Glasgow, including a fellowship in lymphoma at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, as well as completing a diploma in lymphoid malignancies with the European School of Oncology. He has co-authored several papers and guidelines on lymphoma and presented at international meetings.
