So we are kinfolk. We have a lot in common. I never thought that I would play Neville Garrick. It was like the directors were searching through and found a script and say, 'Hey, try for this guy.' And I saw him and I'm like, 'perfect.' Because I had read for all the other characters, the Wailers, Bob, everybody. But they needed to find something for me, and they just happened to find it. So I think that it goes beyond—everything in this realm goes beyond our physical vibration. You know what I mean? Nyabinghi percussion. And so I went down to Jamaica and recorded some of that and found a way to embed that in the score. And talking to Ziggy and Ray (Reinaldo Marcus Green) about how we can borrow little melodies and create score out of that.
