Winter hiking alert: 3 trips around Chamonix and snowshoeing for the first time

Back in 2023, we went for a few days to Chamonix. This valley has a special place in my heart and I always enjoy coming back to it. Of course, the mighty Mont Blanc adds a lot of charm, but Chamonix is special to me mostly because it was the start of our first independent multi-day hike, Tour du Mont Blanc, which we did a few years ago. This time we came back for a winter exploration. We wanted to try snowshoeing and see for ourselves whether winter is still a good season for hiking. It was great to see familiar places covered in snow and the landscape looked completely different. I absolutely loved winter hiking. So here are 3 amazing places and my reflections on snowshoeing.
