Spirit wakes up after the fall off the cliff to see Kiara waking up too. He's also rejoiced to see Little Creek okay. He plays around with Little Creek while Kiara wakes up and goes to find Spirit and Little Creek. She spots them and instead of joining them goes to lay on a log above the water. Since she's unsure of how to approach Spirit about the incident with Rain. Spirit and Little Creek continue to play but soon Spirit realizes Kiara isn't around. He sees her and calls her over but she just lifts her head and sighs. Spirit smiles and slyly walks over to her, knocking her into the water below. She gives him a dirty look and he rears back and laughs. Little Creek also comes over to join them and they splash around in the water. Spirit, Little Creek and Kiara run out of the water onto the shore. Kiara and Little Creek open up to each other and they share a moment of friendship. He rubs Kiaras head and she smiles at him. However Spirit hears something in the distance and it's the admiral and his soldiers. Spirit, LC and Kiara flee but the soldiers catch up and LC gets on Spirits back. They all laugh but it's short lived when the soldiers start gaining on them. Spirit however runs into a canyon with Kiara following behind. In the labyrinth of passages, they manage to lose a number of the soldiers but the admiral is on their tail. They almost slip off the cliff and make numerous sharp turns until they get cornered at the top. Kiara frantically looks around. They realize they need to jump for their freedom and that's exactly what they do. Spirit and LC make it but Kiara nearly falls off but luckily manages to climb up. They quickly celebrate and run back to the remnants of LC's village. Spirit is reminded of Rain and hangs his head. Kiara does so as well when she remembers what she did but suddenly he sees a strange image in the fire smoke... it's Rain! Spirit and Rain are excited and run towards each other. They nuzzle and hug while Kiara is shocked to see her alive. Kiara runs forward in glee ( off screen they make amends for what she did and Rain forgives her ). Everyone says their heart felt goodbyes and run off into the distance, back to Spirit's lands and herd/pride.
